Drawing hope from Zephaniah

There have been many times in my daily walk with God that I've not been totally right. I was so far left from God, that I couldn't see Him, or hear His voice. But, thankfully for God's mercy and love for me, I was able to come back, and serve my purpose in His mission. As I opened my online Bible app, the scripture of the day was Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV).
"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."
In this season of my life, I am drawn deeper into the word of God. Context is a lot of what I study in the Word. If you go back to verse 14, Sing, Daughter Zion, shout loud, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem! Be happy and rejoice, knowing that you have been saved by the Mighty Warrior, who will always fight for you, no matter what. This scripture is a promise of what is to come, in the future, of not just my walk, but every Christian. It's a powerful reminder that the battle and the war has already been won.
